"My goal when I joined my local gym was to get fit! I completed two boot camps before I met Lisa. My third boot camp Lisa facilitated. I met a trainer that boot camp that was firm with high expectations for the participants. She’s encouraging, professional and very skilled at what she does. I am very impressed.
I hired Lisa as my personal trainer after that boot camp to help me to clearly define my fitness goals and to encourage me along the way. My goal was to fit into a size 8 red dress for an up coming cruise. I wore that red dress and it still fits to this day. Lisa was a key contributor to my success."

"Having made some major lifestyle changes I was ready to take the next steps to improve my health and fitness. While I was intimidated by the idea of working with a personal trainer I decided that I needed individual attention to help me set, seek and reach my goals. A friend recommended Lisa and, as it turns out, it was a great recommendation.
I was impressed right from our first meeting when she conducted my fitness assessment. Lisa immediately put me at ease, demonstrated her sensitivity to my concerns and started to help me build confidence that I would succeed in meeting, and even exceeding, my fitness goals. Since starting to work with her in September 2009, I have greatly improved my strength, balance and stamina. I can walk faster and farther; I run up the stairs without getting out of breath; my back problems have vanished; and I can lift and carry heavy things with ease.
I have been pleased to recommend Lisa to several friends, including a bi-athlete and a swimmer, who were impressed with my progress and who also wanted to boost their fitness levels. And while we each have different fitness needs and goals, Lisa has worked with each of us to customize our workouts and to guide us to meet our unique fitness challenges. Lisa has been with me every step of the way – I am proud of my new strength and shape and I would recommend her to anyone seeking personalized attention and encouragement."

"I have been relatively active for years now, and often seek out new challenges. About six years ago I joined a triathlon team so I could meet a community of cyclists and runners with whom I could exercise, and have since then enjoyed a social life that revolves around physical activity. Then three years ago I had a child, and it was a long road to regain my pre-pregnancy fitness. I was often frustrated by my running- being slow and out of shape compared to my teammates. Last fall I decided to work on strength training in order to be able to run and ride without injuries, and also to improve my overall fitness. However with a small child I was struggling to get to the gym, and could not seem to find time to actually dedicate to weights. A friend recommended Lisa because she does house calls. Lisa started training me in January in my (very small) basement, working mostly on strength with free weights and my swiss ball. With Lisa’s help, support, instruction and knowledge I have been able to greatly improve my physical strength, and have been injury-free while increasing the distances I am able to run. I also realise now that I was living with some degree of pain constantly- walking up stairs hurt my knees, picking up my son hurt my hip, and so on. Now I have no back, knee, shoulder pain at all, and my core is much stronger. I feel stable and my speed has definitely increased since this time last year. I have greatly appreciated how careful Lisa is about form, making many corrections. I also appreciate her ability to distract my toddler so I can complete difficult workouts. The only problem is that my arms are too big now for a favourite short-sleeved blouse, a small sacrifice for having under-arms that don’t giggle anymore!”
